Job Summary
Coordinate all school-based federal, state, and local testing, including SOL, WIDA, and SAT administration. Develop schedules, room assignments, and staffing plans while ensuring strict test security, FERPA compliance, and accurate student coding for accommodations. Manage inventory of testing materials, submit irregularities per VDOE guidelines, and deliver staff training on procedures and technology. Analyze assessment data to share findings with stakeholders and coordinate remediation programs. Collaborate with counselors, department chairs, and central office teams to improve student outcomes. Maintain testing records for graduation requirements and recommend process improvements. Provide targeted instructional technology support during non-testing periods.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Collegiate Professional License with appropriate level endorsement
- Minimum of three years of recent successful teaching experience
- Excellent communication, organizational, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with adult learners to support teacher growth
- Experience in professional development, conducting technology workshops
- Knowledge of the Virginia Standards of Learning Assessments
- Strong knowledge of curriculum alignment and instructional design
- Ability to model digital assessment and data-analysis best practices as they relate to informing instruction
- Proficiency in data management and analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, SAS, or comparable platforms
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and synthesize data to develop clear, accurate, and actionable reports for stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of state-mandated testing procedures and regulations
- Ability to interpret and analyze student achievement data
- Ability to train, support, and lead staff in test administration
- Proficiency with assessment platforms (PearsonAccess, DRC Insight, WIDA AMS, CLEP, etc.)
- Proficiency with technology (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Chromebooks)
