Job Summary
Provide administrative support, maintain electronic health records, and manage workflows within the Mental Health & Wellness department while ensuring strict confidentiality of protected health information. Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives in Applied Performance Science by monitoring performance analyses, reports, and safety protocols during testing. Handle PHI in accordance with UAA, federal, and state regulations using Microsoft Office Suite and Canva. Work independently and as part of a collaborative team, engaging with diverse cultures. This role requires a non-standard schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida seeks a coordinator with dual reporting lines to drive student athlete wellness and performance science initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate area of specialization
- Experience working in a medical clinic and using an electronic health record system
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Health Sciences or a related field
- Knowledgeable of Health and Performance Sciences
