Job Summary
Develop the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme curriculum, leading formulation, implementation, and evaluation processes while ensuring all IBO databases remain current and deadlines are met. Coordinate strategic planning, authorization, and five-year evaluation procedures, liaising with the IBO to administer and return relevant documentation. Collaborate with leadership on budgeting for IB memberships, visiting teams, and teacher workshops, while overseeing stakeholder access to the MYP framework. Lead professional development sessions, induct new faculty, and supervise the Community and Service Leader. Manage the Personal Project and Community Projects, train supervisors, and ensure unit planners integrate the IB Learner Profile and global contexts. Facilitate vertical articulation between programmes, monitor teacher assessments, and maintain consistent communication with parents and the broader community.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
- 3 Years of Teaching Experience
- Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation
- Proficiency with technology applications and digital resources
- Ability to interpret data and evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness
- Ability to develop and provide personalized professional learning to adult learners
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- track record of student growth and positive evaluations from supervisor
