Job Summary

Schedule, track, and reconcile clinical sample shipments while maintaining a compliant biorepository of clinical, preclinical, and procured samples. Manage sample tracking and laboratory workflows in ELN/LIMS, ensuring regulatory compliance and patient privacy protections in all sample handling activities. Support planning and execution of clinical sample processing, including reagent procurement and workflow validation, while maintaining centralized documentation systems, vendor logs, and master schedules. Facilitate operational communication and coordination within the Translational Biomarkers team. This role requires an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology with laboratory experience, proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Located in Madison, WI, this position supports Arrowhead's RNAi-based therapeutics pipeline.

Required Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Biotechnology or related area of study and at least 5 years' experience in a laboratory or research environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology or related area of study and at least 1 years' experience in a laboratory or research environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs (i.e. Excel, Word)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to adapt to changes in priority and/or studies
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of common molecular biology techniques and practices
  • Candidates must have current, valid authorization to work in the country where this role is located

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous professional experience in a Biology lab and previously or currently hold a full-time or part-time position
  • Team-motivated individual with the ability to adapt in a dynamic fluid environment, and who has strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
