Job Summary

Conduct cycle time analyses, time studies, and workplace audits to drive efficiency across retail, donation, and warehousing operations. Manage small change events, including Kaizen studies, while modifying floor plan layouts in Visio and implementing standard work aids. Assist management and staff with CI questions, promote available tools like production sketches and checklists, and follow up on action plans to ensure sustained improvements. Perform hands-on activities such as hanging signs and laying floor tape as required in various work environments. This temporary, four-month role involves frequent travel to all business units and driving company vehicles, with a focus on safety, quality, and collaboration with the Learning and Development team.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree in related discipline
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent continuous improvement/process engineering experience
  • Recent college graduate with an Associate degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Technology
  • Safety and quality driven
  • Intermediate skill with Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of other computer applications such as Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint
  • Experience with Visio
  • Ability to follow established procedures without immediate supervision for various operations
  • Ability to plan and work around schedules and deadlines
  • Ability to perform record keeping, data collection activities, and to analyze recorded information
  • Ability to present to small groups
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and meeting facilitation skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Must have valid Colorado State driver license
  • Must be able to operate company vehicle
  • Must adhere to all Federal, State, and local laws governing vehicle operation
  • Must have valid vehicle insurance
  • Must have valid driver license
  • Vehicle must be in roadworthy condition
  • Must be able to undergo a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and background check
  • Must disclose all moving traffic violations or vehicle crashes (within the last five (5) years)
  • Must be able to lift 45 lbs & over (Heavy) - NEVER
