Job Summary
Front Desk Coordinator at a healthcare clinic responsible for patient intake, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and EMR data entry to support patient-centered care. Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling varied visits, demographic verification, collecting co-pays, and coordinating translation services; proficiency in EMR (eCW) and Microsoft Office is required. Strong customer service, data accuracy, and multitasking in a fast-paced clinical environment are essential; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, with some travel/office flexibility and potential for a performance-based incentive. This role also supports follow-ups, outreach for care initiatives, and general front-desk operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
- Knowledge of medical insurance, Medicaid/Medicare, and EMR systems (eCW) preferred
- BLS Certification preferred
- Training in gait support and ADA compliance (preferred)
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Power BI, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
