Job Summary
Coordinate and support Title I/Federal School programs within Oklahoma City Public Schools by providing technical assistance to schools and districts, ensuring compliance with No Child Left Behind/ESEA Waiver requirements, developing and monitoring improvement plans, facilitating curriculum adaptation, managing parent involvement initiatives, and supporting district-wide planning, budgeting, and program evaluations. Key duties include assisting with curriculum materials, intervention activities, progress monitoring, stakeholder engagement through committees, and ensuring timely reporting and documentation for federal programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Educational Administration or a closely related field from an accredited college or university required
- Five (5) years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a Title I setting
- Current Oklahoma Teaching certificate required
- Demonstrated experience with federal programs, compliance monitoring, grant-funded programs, or school improvement initiatives preferred
- Strong planning, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a diverse educational community
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and reliable transportation required
- Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education at a 2:1 ratio. Therefore for every 1 year of college lacking, 2 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted
Desired Qualifications
- Five (5) years of successful teaching experience
- Current Oklahoma Teaching certificate
- Bachelor's degree in Educational Administration or a closely related field
- Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Knowledge and experience of Title I regulations, school improvement planning, and program evaluation processes (preferred)
- Experience with budget planning, grant budgeting, data analysis, reporting systems or resource allocation (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a diverse educational community
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and reliable transportation
