Coordinator EOC

Coordinate support for Environment of Care (EOC) regulations across the hospital system. Provides support for all EOC-related meetings. Supervises/coordinates all required records and information pertaining to the Environment of Care in Hazardous Materials, Utilities Management, Fire/Life Safety, Building Safety and Medical Equipment. Helps ensure departments across facilities are compliant with ACHC, CMS, and CDPH accreditation regulations; assist with preparation and maintenance of regulatory documents for survey readiness; participate in Life Safety, Physical Environment, and Security surveys and develop Plans of Corrections; attend EOC meetings and contribute to meeting minutes; assist with EOC policies, procedures, reports, and presentations; develop operational Alternate Life Safety assessments and track corrective measures; coordinate regulatory inspections and corrective actions; assist with Emergency Management activities; participate in district-wide security maintenance; and demonstrate system values. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree or 1-2 years relevant experience, attention to detail, and ability to work independently; preferred healthcare accreditation survey experience and knowledge of NFPA Life Safety Code and OSHA.
