Job Summary
Coordinate digital health implementation for Community Health Workers across Ethiopia by deploying tools like Extension Essentials and HEP Assist AI, managing workplans, and facilitating training activities. Support data collection, dashboard development, and troubleshooting for devices and software, including regression testing, bug reporting via Jira, and Moodle course updates. Provide remote technical assistance through phone and email while maintaining digital health processes and procedures. Travel to remote regions as needed for field visits and device management. Based onsite in Addis Ababa for a fixed-term 24–36 month period.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, Information Technology, software engineering, statistics, mathematics
- Minimum of three years of work experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience working on IT-related projects
- At least 3 years of relevant experience designing and implementing Digital Health systems in the field
- Willingness and ability to travel to remote areas of Ethiopia, sometimes for overnight visits
- Currently located in and authorized to work in Ethiopia
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledgeable and experienced with community health systems, especially the Ethiopian Health Extension Workers (HEW) program
- Ability to build and edit courses on Moodle LMS
- Experience with analyzing data and developing dashboards using data analytics and visualization tools like Data Studio
- Verbal and written communication skills for understanding project requirements and explaining these needs to employees and third-party providers
- Ability to prioritize and manage time to ensure tasks are completed on time
