Job Summary
Coordinate, develop, and implement cultural arts education programs for the City of Austin’s Carver Museum and Cultural Center. Lead and supervise staff, contractors, and volunteers; manage budgets; plan and evaluate education programs and events; oversee exhibit design, installation, care, and maintenance; collaborate with artists, staff, and community groups; develop promotional materials and coordinate grants/donations; ensure accessibility and compliance with city policies and ADA requirements; maintain relationships with professional organizations and the public.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field plus one year of experience related to development and implementation of programs; experience may substitute for education up to four years; may require CPR/First Aid or other certifications as specified; valid Texas Driver's license or ability to acquire one; driver record requirements may apply.
