Job Summary
Coordinator, Core Lab - Laboratory - Full Time. Responsible for the coordination of technical operations for the core lab sections (Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, Urinalysis and Coagulation, and Blood Bank) with supervision of personnel, training, competency evaluation, and scheduling. Able to perform routine and advanced testing, assist in continuing education, manage inventory and supplies, and oversee instrument maintenance and maintenance documentation. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, QA/QC, proficiency testing, and interdepartmental communication. Plans meetings, communicates outcomes, and supports Performance Improvement initiatives. Sign-on bonus up to $25,000. Pay ranges provided: 32.60-$51.63 per hour. Fully details per role.
Required Qualifications
- 6 years direct experience in clinical laboratory disciplines
- ASCP Certification
- New York State Medical Technologist license
- Education in accordance with the NYS Office of Professions and CLIA requirements of testing personnel
