Job Summary
Start each shift by reviewing the production schedule with the Shift Supervisor and briefing packaging teams on upcoming order changes. Lead the packaging floor by directing work, distributing run schedules, and coordinating timing with the Line Controller to deliver smooth changeovers. Monitor automated systems, adjust equipment, and keep cold-end machines running at peak efficiency while assisting with Roll Up and automatic bagger setup. Train employees stepping into new roles, maintain detailed logbook entries for handoffs, and partner with Maintenance on preventive maintenance and repairs. Champion safety, housekeeping, and environmental responsibilities throughout the shift, ensuring crisp communication between shifts and support for mandatory overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain current OSHA Certified Industrial Truck Operator License
- Minimum of two years of industrial experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to sufficiently read, write, and understand English
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be able to effectively manage time and meet deadlines
- Must be able to effectively collaborate and build positive team spirit
- Must be able to effectively own results and adhere to policies
