Job Summary
Coordinate production activities by scheduling the line based on supply demands and distributing associates according to line balancing requirements. Maintain continuous flow by verifying component feeding, machine setups, and equipment calibration while ensuring quality specifications are followed. Manage resources to optimize performance, verify label accuracy, and ensure workstation cleanliness and order. Report quality problems, error rates, and equipment malfunctions immediately to determine solutions. Perform clerical functions including writing scrap reports, training records, and production metrics, while conducting audits to GMPs and participating in continuous improvement actions. Ensure compliance with all quality procedures, laws, and safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience as an assembly operator in manufacturing
- Experience preferably in the medical industry
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of statistics, mathematics, and statistical process control (SPC)
- Excellent communication skills to serve as an interface between manufacturing, engineering, materials management, and quality control
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Functional knowledge on PC applications and programs such as MS, Windows, Excel, etc.
