Job Summary
Develop, implement, and maintain essential systems, programs, and procedures for financial accountability, reporting, and monitoring of the day-to-day business in Medical Equipment Management. Manage profit and loss statements and basic cost accounting principles while utilizing database experience for report writing and application tasks. Apply standard accounting practices and maintain a safe driving record. Requires three to five years of experience in accounting, healthcare biomed, and radiological biomed. Located at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children, and Madison Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- HS/GED
- Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work exp
- three to five years of all facets of accounting
- profit and loss statements
- basic cost accounting principles
- Three to Five years of database experience
- report writing
- application experience
- Working knowledge of Healthcare Biomed & Radiological Biomed
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- strong organizational skills
- ability to solve problems independently
- Computer literate
- MS Office in general (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
- database administration
- knowledgeable with the standard accounting practices
- Must maintain a safe driving record
