Cooling Tower Technician

Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and perform work on cooling towers. Conduct routine maintenance of cooling towers; cleaning, greasing bearings, changing oil. Install new cooling towers and equipment according to manufacturers specs. Procures all material in a timely manner to meet service level agreements for scheduled completion dates. Responds immediately to emergency situations and management concerns. Performs all work to industry standards and maintains a professional manner and appearance at all times. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Experience with Microsoft Office for reporting projects and viewing technical instructions.
- Ability to use ladders, scaffolding, man lift equipment, forklifts, bobcats, and power tools.
- Utilize OSHA standards
