Job Summary
A Cooling Customer Engineer is responsible for installation, commissioning, and scheduled and emergency service on Liebert Air cooling products in data-center environments. The role requires maintaining communication with customers and internal teams, adhering to safety guidelines, maintaining certifications, and aiming for a first-time fix while documenting work and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include on-site and phone assistance, following company guidelines for maintenance, implementing field change notices, and providing timely reporting and accounting for time and expenses. The position involves travel, manual dexterity, and the ability to interpret electrical diagrams and HVAC principles, with an emphasis on reliability, safety, and professional customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- HVAC – Certificate Program degree or equivalent experience in the field
- Six years military experience in a related field
- Equivalent industry experience with EPA refrigerant license
- Basic electrical knowledge

- Must be able to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints
- Working knowledge of OHM’s law and HVAC theory

- Elementary fix/repair techniques based on directed supervision
- Capable of completing tasks and return unit to full operating conditions based upon directed supervision
