Job Summary
Cook at Plum Market Food Service – Columbus Airport responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality menu items in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment; must follow recipes, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, and work collaboratively with back-of-house and front-of-house teams. Requires attention to detail, reliability, ability to multitask, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; prior airport or travel-related food service experience is a plus; certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred. Stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties, with duties including opening/closing kitchen tasks and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in kitchen or food preparation
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and presentation standards
- Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety procedures
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Team-oriented and good communication skills
