Job Summary
Prepare food according to standardized recipes, serving meals or preparing for delivery with correct portioning and temperature control. Taste all prepared items for quality control, then clean the kitchen and store excess food using safe handling procedures. Assist in meal and beverage preparation, deliver trays and carts to resident floors, assemble meal trays, and maintain dish room and pot sink areas. Sweep, mop, and dispose of trash while following proper cleaning techniques for all equipment and work zones. Perform other job-related duties as required. Shifts include day and evening rotations with alternating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year long-term care, hospital, or healthcare experienced preferred
