Cooks and Dietary Aides Nursing Home Experience

Prepare food according to standardized recipes, serving meals or preparing for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring proper temperature and taste. Taste all prepared items for quality control. Clean kitchens after preparation and serving, maintaining cleanliness standards and storing excess food per safe handling procedures. Assist in preparing meals, beverages, and snacks. Deliver trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms. Assemble resident meal trays. Sweep, mop, and dispose of trash and recyclables. Follow proper cleaning techniques for all kitchen equipment and work areas. Perform other job-related duties as required. Full-time and part-time shifts available including day, evening, alternating weekends, and holidays.
