Job Summary
Responsible for preparing and serving meals according to the menu while ensuring quality food service and nutrition care in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. The cook will monitor food handling methods, preparation, meal service, and cleaning of equipment, providing nutritionally appropriate food to enhance the overall health of residents.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
Desired Qualifications
- Two years as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation, preferred.
- One year's work experience in long term care, preferred.
