Job Summary
Deliver Insomnia Cookies orders safely, accurately, and with a smile to loyal fans in a timely, warm, and complete fashion. Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store, then navigate efficiently using GPS and the delivery app while following safe driving practices. Welcome guests in the bakery, provide friendly service between deliveries, and assist with preparing, packaging, and organizing orders. Help bake and package cookies as needed, operate the register, and keep the bakery clean, organized, and food-safe. Work closely with the team to keep orders moving quickly and create a positive guest experience. This role requires your own insured vehicle, a valid license, and availability for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company requirements
- Current auto insurance that meets state minimum requirements
- Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications
- Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a motor vehicles background check
- Must have your own car, license, valid registration, and valid insurance
- Must have a smartphone with data plan

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to drive safely for extended periods throughout a shift
- Ability to frequently enter and exit a vehicle
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while working inside the bakery
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions while making deliveries
- Ability to work around ovens, refrigeration equipment, and moderate bakery noise levels
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership
- Ability to deliver Insomnia Cookies orders safely, accurately, and with a smile
- Ability to ensure every order arrives warm, complete, and ready to impress
- Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS and delivery technology while following safe driving practices
- Ability to welcome guests in the bakery and provide friendly service between deliveries
- Ability to assist with preparing, packaging, and organizing delivery and pickup orders
- Ability to help bake and package cookies and other treats as needed
- Ability to operate the register and process guest transactions
- Ability to keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe
- Ability to work closely with your bakery team to keep orders moving quickly and accurately
- Ability to help create the kind of guest experience that keeps people coming back
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ovens, refrigeration equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels
- Ability to drive in varying weather and traffic conditions while following all safety policies and traffic laws
- Ability to work during peak business hours (evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays)
