Job Summary
Welcome guests with genuine hospitality, prepare and bake cookies, brownies, and ice cream to quality standards, and accurately process in-store, pickup, and delivery orders. Operate the register, maintain a clean and food-safe bakery, and jump in wherever the team needs support, from restocking to keeping the line moving. Resolve guest concerns with empathy and urgency while partnering with your Shift Leader. This fast-paced role involves evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts with peak hours during evenings and holidays. You must be 18 or older and able to obtain required food safety certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to obtain any required food safety certifications applicable to the location
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift)
- Ability to frequently reach, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and lift
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds regularly
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle bakery equipment, food products, and a point-of-sale system
- Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, including around ovens, freezers, and refrigeration units
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment in accordance with company procedures
- Ability to read order screens, recipes, and safety information
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment
- Availability during peak business hours (evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays)
