Job Summary
Welcome every guest with genuine hospitality and prepare, bake, and package warm cookies, brownies, ice cream, and other treats to quality standards. Accurately prepare in-store, pickup, and delivery orders, operate the register, and keep the bakery clean, stocked, and food-safe. Jump in wherever the team needs you, whether restocking supplies or keeping the line moving, and resolve guest concerns with empathy and urgency. This fast-paced role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds regularly, and working evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to obtain any required food safety certifications applicable to the location
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift)
- Ability to frequently reach, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and lift
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds regularly
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle bakery equipment, food products, and a point-of-sale system
- Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, including around ovens, freezers, and refrigeration units
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment in accordance with company procedures
- Ability to read order screens, recipes, and safety information
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment
- Availability during peak business hours (evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays)
