Job Summary
Greet guests, take orders, and bake cookies, brownies, and ice cream to perfection while ensuring fast, warm delivery packaging. Operate the register for accurate cash and payment processing, then maintain a clean, stocked, and food-safe bakery environment. Resolve guest concerns with empathy, jump in wherever the team needs support, and assist with restocking supplies. Work evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting, lifting up to 40 pounds of product.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to obtain any required food safety certifications applicable to the location
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift up to 40 lb boxes of product
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift)
- Ability to frequently reach, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and lift
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds regularly
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle bakery equipment, food products, and a point-of-sale system
- Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, including around ovens, freezers, and refrigeration units
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment in accordance with company procedures
- Ability to read order screens, recipes, and safety information
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- At least 6 months of experience in a customer service focused role - preferred
- Personable, genuine, outgoing demeanor
- Customer service focused and a willingness to exceed guest expectations
- Great communication, organizational and math skills
