Job Summary
Supply the plant with packaging and raw materials, remove finished goods to storage, and load/unload trucks. Stack pallets neatly in various racking systems, receive inbound shipments, and perform inventory counts including cycle counting and stock rotation. Maintain general housekeeping and operate a forklift safely in congested areas while performing transactions with high accuracy. Work the second shift from 6:45pm to 7:00am, lifting 20-50 pounds repeatedly and pushing up to 100 lbs. Learn robotic palletizer operation and troubleshoot equipment as needed. Keep orderly records, interact professionally with departments and carriers, and perform multiple tasks under time pressure. Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must possess (or be able to develop) a high degree of forklift operation skills
- Must be trainable to operate tractors and move trailers around yard and into truck bays
- Must be able to lift, carry, and stack 20-50 pounds boxes repeatedly during the shift
- Push or pull up to 100 lbs. at times during the shift
- Safe operation of forklift truck in congested areas
- Must be able to professionally interact with various department, customers, and carriers
- Must have the ability to work under time pressure and perform several tasks at the same time
- Must be able to learn operation and troubleshooting of robotic palletizers
- Must be able to work well with numbers, keeping orderly and accurate records
