Job Summary
Operate the PLC to control machinery and monitor pumps and grinders to ensure quality assurance. Blow grease lines as required and clean up areas including shoveling floors, hosing machinery, and using wheelbarrows. Document plant operations per the GMP program and notify the shift manager of any issues or maintenance problems. Attend all safety meetings and perform all other duties as assigned. Work 12-hour shifts occasionally while maintaining a safe and controlled manner. Darling Ingredients is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Dependable; reliable; ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred
- Prior experience in a rendering facility or production environment preferred
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Works well with others in a team environment
