Job Summary
Inspect and diagnose mechanical devices to identify issues, dismantle and repair defective parts, and examine components for wear. Adjust functional components and control instruments for optimal performance while installing special parts in machinery. Lubricate, clean, and maintain equipment to ensure reliability, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance records and collaborate with team members to support safe plant operations. This role requires a minimum of 4 years of mechanical maintenance experience, proficiency in maintenance software, and the ability to work extended schedules during the fresh pack season from July through early November.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance
- Ability to climb, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and schematics
- Understanding of geometry, trigonometry, and mathematical applications in mechanical work
- Proficiency in work order processing systems and maintenance software
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Willingness to work extended schedules, weekends, and any assigned shift during the fresh pack season (typically July through early November)
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
