Job Summary
Cooks prepare and assemble menu items to deliver a great guest experience at Zaxby’s. Responsibilities include receiving and stocking inventory, maintaining safe food handling, operating cooking equipment, keeping stations clean, and assisting with guest service and front-of-house operations. Requires ability to work 32-40 hours per week; must be at least 16 years old; physical endurance for lifting up to 50 pounds; strong communication; adherence to safety and food safety standards; ability to follow SOPs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to work 32 to 40 hours per week
- Sit, stand, and walk continuously
- Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and manipulation
- Proficient communication in speech, reading, and writing
- Maintain awareness of safety and food allergen considerations
- Operate and work safely with restaurant equipment (knives, fryers, etc.)
