Job Summary
Cook at Zaxby’s is responsible for creating a great guest experience by consistently serving quality food in a timely manner. You will receive and stock inventory, prepare, cook and assemble orders, keep the kitchen clean and organized, and maintain food safety and quality standards by following standard operating procedures. Duties include maintaining awareness of current promotions, assisting with guest service and front-of-house operations, and preparing menu items safely and sanitarily. Must be 16+ and able to work 30–40 hours per week; includes benefits such as 50% meals when at work, flexible hours, room for growth, and bonuses. Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week
- Capability to sit/stand/walk continuously
- Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb (including ladders)
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and manipulation
- Communicate proficiently through speech, reading, and writing
- Maintain food safety and quality standards following SOPs
- Operate and work safely with restaurant equipment (knives, fryers, etc.)
