Job Summary
Create nutritious meals meeting "My Plate Nutrition" criteria for 43 independent residents at Cogswell Hall and assist in preparing and delivering food to 250+ shelter guests Monday through Friday. Conduct monthly surveys assessing food service quality, quantity, temperature, and appearance while maintaining strict cleanliness and sanitation standards per Cuyahoga County Department of Public Health guidelines. Work full-time with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, ensuring all participants receive balanced, wholesome dishes that enhance their dining experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license (or obtain license within first 90 days of employment)
- Minimum of one-year restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience
- Proficiency in quality and quantity food preparation
- Ability to work in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Demonstrate creativity in meal preparation
- Effectively communicate with residents and colleagues
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have auto insurance
- Must have a reliable vehicle
