Job Summary
Yona is seeking a Cook to provide warm and friendly hospitality, preparing meals in a safe and sanitary manner according to standardized recipes. Responsibilities include ensuring proper food preparation, portioning and serving, adhering to safety standards, timely meal preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in food service areas. Ideal candidates will have proven cooking experience, knowledge of safety guidelines, and good communication skills, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
- Skilled in preparing meals according to instructions
- Apt in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances
- Friendly with good communication skills
- Good physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus
- Must provide a criminal background check
