Job Summary
Ensure each guest has a positive, long-lasting impression of the Wingstop experience by preparing quality food that tastes great and is consistent from day-to-day. Quickly scan and comprehend order tickets, accurately count Bone-In Wings, Boneless Wings, and Boneless Strips needed, and coordinate cooking times with corresponding timers. Cook and prepare wings and fries in proper fryers and baskets, then sauce, season, and package all orders according to company standards. Filter and freshen fryer shortening daily while maintaining a clean kitchen throughout the shift. Immediately notify the Manager on Duty of any safety, sanitation, or employee issues. Follow directions from management and adhere to proper personal hygiene and sanitation procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Food Handler Certification required
- Ability to practice safe cooking procedures
- Ability to thoroughly understand and follow instructions in how to properly and safely use chemical cleaning products
- Know and thoroughly understand the importance of good hygiene and food handling practices
- Ability to successfully focus on their job in a calm, yet efficient manner
- Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Strong work ethic
Desired Qualifications
- Professional cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
- Line cook: 1 year (Preferred)
- Cook and restaurant experience is a plus!
- Guest service mentality; has a genuine desire to serve the customer
- Manages multiple projects and timelines with a sense of urgency and follow through
- Ongoing learner; exhibits insatiable curiosity and an interest in self improvement
