Job Summary
Cook responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals per established menus and service schedules; oversee preparation of main courses, sides, vegetables, and salads; ensure proper food handling, storage, and usage documentation; support overall kitchen operations including equipment cleaning and dish-room assistance; provide direct supervision and guidance to student workers; maintain professional, customer-focused demeanor; assist with special campus events under Cafeteria Manager guidance; work 40 hours/week with a 7 am–7 pm schedule, Monday through Friday; position located in Wabash, IN; expected to adhere to food safety standards and participate in mission-driven campus community.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- A Christian with strong convictions who aligns with Josiah White’s mission statement, Statement of Faith, and Code of Conduct
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- CPR/First Aid training required
- Mindset training required
- Supervision of student workers
- Meal preparation and cooking according to menu and service schedule
- Food safety standards and proper food handling/documentation
