Job Summary
Cook I role responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting a variety of hot and cold dishes (meats, fowl, fish, sauces, stocks, soups, seasonings, breakfast and lunch items) per established standards; supervise the line and line cooks during setup, production and breakdown; manage production line and assist in creating specialty dishes; control food cost and ensure proper storage, labeling and rotation of items; maintain clean work area and operate kitchen equipment; collaborate with management and service staff to meet guest requests and maintain quality and presentation standards; 1-2 years of prep cook experience (Cook II/III) with college degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience as a Prep Cook (Cook III) or a Cook II, preferably in an outlet of similar size and nature
- College degree preferred; High School Diploma and/or 2-3 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
