Prepare and serve all food items and meals in accordance with approved menus, recipes, and sanitary regulations while ensuring high quality and palatability. Inspect special diet requests, manage food substitutions for residents who refuse meals, and coordinate with the Culinary Services Director on menu changes and purchasing. Maintain clean storage areas, control inventory levels, and record cooler/freezer temperatures daily. Open and close the kitchen, manage staff arrival/departure schedules, and ensure proper disposal of food and waste. Display tact and friendliness when interacting with residents, families, and visitors during property tours. Obtain and maintain a valid Serv Safe Manager's Certificate and Food Handler's permit.
