Job Summary
Prepare and serve meals to residents in Watermere at Woodland Lakes' independent living community using standardized recipes; maintain sanitation of food service areas, perform inventory and receiving tasks, and ensure compliance with local/state food handling and sanitation regulations. Accommodate special dietary needs and texture-modified foods as directed, documenting quantities and adhering to regulatory requirements. Demonstrates knowledge of special diets and operates within a team to deliver consistent high-quality dining service.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Six months to a year of related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of special diets
- Obtain and hold any local or state required food handling/supervision/sanitation licenses and/or certifications
- Ability to prepare texture modified food as directed
- Use of standardized recipes and accurate record keeping
- Compliance with applicable food and sanitation regulations
