Job Summary
Produce and serve menu cycle programs compliant with nutritional and dietary criteria while adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards. Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency, demonstrating knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production. Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization while assisting with meal serving and ware washing. Periodically visit residents to evaluate food service quality, quantity, temperature, and appearance, conducting evaluations to revise operations and procedures. Represent the community warmly to create a positive environment, supporting business decisions that drive revenue and occupancy. Part-time schedule from 11:30am-8:00pm and 7am-3:30pm; starting salary $22/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum of two years restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience
Desired Qualifications
- Culinary degree preferred
