Job Summary
Cook needed at Embassy Suites by Hilton Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. Responsibilities include preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foods; reading menus to estimate requirements and ordering or procuring ingredients; adjusting oven and equipment temperatures; measuring ingredients and using kitchen tools to prepare items such as soups, gravies, sauces, and casseroles; baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming; tasting and assessing doneness; portioning and garnishing plates; supervising other cooks; and assisting with bread, rolls, pastries, and item pricing. Uniforms and name badge required; hospitali ty team environment with benefits and growth opportunities. Hours are part-time, 26–28 per week, 3:00pm–11:00pm.
