Job Summary
Perform routine and non-routine food preparation activities including cook to order and specialty foods. Train and guide student workers while greeting customers and answering questions regarding food preparation. Clean, inspect, and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas, adhering to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations. Adapt quickly to daily changes in guest count, menu substitutions, and staffing needs within dining, retail, and catering venues. This full-time, benefit-eligible position begins at $19.00 per hour and requires a flexible schedule including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1-year prior food service experience
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule that includes evenings, nights, and weekends
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Employment will require a criminal background check
- You and your references to answer questions regarding sexual violence and sexual harassment
