Job Summary
Prepare and serve attractive, nutritious meals for residents in a senior living setting, ensuring sanitation and safety while following recipes and portion controls. Support inventory and deliveries when needed, maintain presentation and resident satisfaction, and collaborate with a Food Service Director and team to provide compassionate service. Requires reading recipes, teamwork, flexible shifts, effective communication, and strong English language skills; must enjoy working with the elderly and ensuring safe, hygienic food service. Reports to the Food Service Director and supports other departments as part of the team.
Required Qualifications
- Experience and/or knowledge of meal preparation for large groups
- Ability to read and understand recipes

- Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner for residents
- Must enjoy working with the elderly and all who associate with them
