Job Summary
Prepare and serve attractive, nutritious meals for residents in an organized manner, ensuring proper portions, sanitation, and timely service. Work within a team to maintain high standards of food safety, rotate inventories, assist with deliveries when needed, and foster resident satisfaction through clear communication and presentation. Requires comfort with preparing meals for large groups, reading recipes, flexible shifts (including weekends), ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a professional appearance. Prioritize resident well-being and maintain a respectful, supportive environment in a senior-care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Experience and/or knowledge of meal preparation for large groups
- Ability to read and understand recipes
