Prepares and serves attractive, nutritious meals for residents in a senior-living setting, using recipes and portion control; maintains sanitation and food safety standards; collaborates with the team and Food Service Director; assists with stock checks and deliveries when needed; communicates effectively in English with residents and staff; supports resident satisfaction and quality of service; able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and adapt to flexible shifts; part-time role in South Milwaukee, WI.
Required Qualifications
- Experience and/or knowledge of meal preparation for large groups
- Ability to read and understand recipes
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner for residents
- Must enjoy working with the elderly and interact with residents who are susceptible to illness without exposing them to health risks
