Job Summary
Cook at Trenton Gardens Rehabilitation: responsible for preparing meals for residents, including modified textures for therapeutic diets; supervises dietary aides; ensures safety, sanitation and proper food handling per FDA Food Code; opens/closes kitchen; documents temperatures; assists with special events; requires ServSafe or Sodexo certification and at least 1 year of large-scale cooking experience; weekend and holiday availability; strong teamwork and communication; HS diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Certification in healthcare cooking (ServSafe or Sodexo)
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in large-scale cooking
- Strong knowledge of large scale & therapeutic food prep
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
