Job Summary
Cook for the Food & Nutritional Services Dept, preparing food for patients, staff and visitors following standard recipes; set up equipment, monitor pressure/temperature gauges; maintain a neat, sanitary work area. Day/evening/weekend shifts; on-site at Towson, MD. Includes benefits, tuition reimbursement program for ongoing education/certification, and retirement matching. Must have high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of quality/batch cooking experience. Pay range is $18.50/hour to $24.09/hour (annualized as part of salary).
Required Qualifications
- High school/GED plus at least 6 months of experience in quality/batch cooking
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to exchange cooking information and perform other activities requiring ordinary courtesy
- Concentration and attention to detail
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lifting objects under 10 lbs.
