Job Summary
Conduct daily food preparation by reviewing prep lists, setting up workstations, and handling hot and cold items using various kitchen equipment. Safely operate knives, ovens, and mixers while adhering to food safety regulations, portion standards, and recipes. Manage assigned stations, stock food products, and rotate inventory in compliance with state laws. Multi-task in a high-volume kitchen environment, resolving issues quickly to ensure timely service. Requires high school diploma, one year of cooking experience, and ability to lift 50 pounds. Full-time role with $19/hour wage, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) match, and DailyPay access.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least one (1) year of relevant cooking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience cooking or kitchen experience in a cafeteria or large volume production facility
- Experience with safety procedures as typical in a cafeteria or food service environment
