Job Summary
Reviews menus to ensure ingredients are available and ready, then prepares meals in accordance with patient needs, preferences, and current federal, state, and local regulations. Maintains and files menus per company policies, follows all safety and food storage standards, and keeps a clean working environment. Listens to and serves patients or residents as needed to ensure a positive meal experience while participating in setting up and adjusting the food service production line to assure meals are complete, accurate, and served on time.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year food preparation and cooking experience
- Ability to meet all health and background check requirements
Desired Qualifications
- experience preferably in a hospital, nursing care, or other related medical facility
