Job Summary
Prepares and serves food following standardized recipes in a full-time cook role at a skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities include menu adherence, portion control, food safety, sanitation, timely meal service, labeling and dating of storage, maintaining proper handling to prevent contamination and reduce costs, overseeing storage of dishes and utensils, and suggesting menu changes to utilize leftovers and supplies. Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and food service equipment and responds to dining room concerns as needed.
