Job Summary
The Cook prepares and cooks a wide variety of foods at the Sunshine Village Resort, ensuring food safety, service standards, presentation, and quality are consistently met. Works under the supervision of the Sous Chef and Resort Chefs, collaborating with culinary and warehousing departments. Hands-on in food preparation when needed; may assist with menu planning, portion estimates, ordering supplies, and staff training. May work across multiple Food & Beverage venues based on operational needs. Requires 1 year of experience in a high-volume food service setting and valid food handling certification; strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work flexible weekends/holidays; and proficiency in English.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience in a high-volume food service format
- Food handling certification is required
