Cook

Cook needed for a senior living community to prepare food for residents and guests according to menus and standard recipes. Responsibilities include cooking for residents, guests, and staff; plating with portion guidelines and garnishing; assisting other kitchen staff; maintaining station cleanliness and readiness for the next shift; communicating shortages or outages to the supervisor; ensuring food is fresh, properly seasoned, and safely prepared; upholding sanitation, safety, and universal precautions; presenting a professional appearance. Hours are full-time or part-time with shifts from 6am-2pm or 11am-7pm. Requires at least a high school diploma and a minimum of three years line cook experience or training, plus good communication skills.
