Job Summary
Prepare food for residents, guests, and employees according to menus, recipes, and portion guidelines. Plate items with garnishing instructions, ensure freshness and proper seasoning, and stock and clean stations for the next shift. Assist kitchen staff, communicate shortages to the supervisor, and follow food rotation policies. Maintain safety standards, clean appliances, and promote positive relations with residents and families while upholding resident rights and dignity.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school
- A minimum of three years of line cook experience and/or training
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work some weekends
- Occasional travel to different locations
